Lukashenko okays draft amendments to Belarus-Russia agreement on military-technical cooperation
On October 1, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 351, approving the draft intergovernmental agreement between Belarus and Oman on mutual visa abolition as a basis for negotiations. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Head of State.
The international treaty stipulates that citizens of both countries, holders of national passports valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry, will be exempted from the need to obtain visas for entry, exit, and transit, provided that the duration of their continuous stay in the territory of the host country does not exceed 30 days from the date of entry, and the total duration of stay within a calendar year does not exceed 90 days.
The conclusion of the agreement will contribute to the development and strengthening of cooperation between Belarus and Oman, and simplify mutual travel for citizens.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is authorized to conduct negotiations on the draft agreement and its signing.
