President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has instructed to establish iron discipline in the agro-industrial complex of the Vitebsk region by January 1. He stated this at a meeting in Vitebsk, according to a BELTA correspondent.

Lukashenko on Vitebsk region: a clear plan for the real revival of the region is needed
"I did not come to the Vitebsk region to intimidate you. We have been working together for 30 years, you know my approaches. If you did not understand me, deceived me, everything will be tightened to the limit," said the Belarusian leader. Alexander Lukashenko suggested a scheme for action at different levels: "After today's meeting, the chairmen of district executive committees will call the chief specialists and managers and convey this toughest conversation to them. They will be given until November 7 - you have no more time - to establish iron discipline in the farms. They, the managers and specialists, should gather the machine operators, milkmaids, and others there. And by January 1, everything you have should be polished and cleaned up."
If there is a shortage of personnel in some farms, the President has instructed to attract patron assistance from other enterprises. "People arrived, did the work, restored it," he said. "That's it, gentlemen. The nonsense is over," Alexander Lukashenko warned. At the same time, he noted that everyone will be treated humanely, but on the condition of honest and responsible work: "I know your work. If you are negligent, cover up for each other, if you hide shortcomings and report to me not what is needed (I then spend huge amounts of money to extract the true information), there will be no forgiveness.
