Lukashenko to judges: Our spirit, foundation, and basis are one – justice
President of Belarus and Chairman of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly Alexander Lukashenko urged judges to carry out their activities based on the principle of justice. He stated this at the oath-taking ceremony of judges of the Constitutional and Supreme Courts, a BELTA correspondent reports.
"I vowed to myself that, to the best of my abilities and capabilities, I would do everything to ensure justice in society. Remember, I said (and you, as lawyers, will understand me) that we cannot prescribe everything in laws. But we have one spirit, one foundation, and one basis - justice. And this concerns you first and foremost. Be just to our people, to our nation. I wish you happiness, health, long life, and may you act for the good of your country and our people," said the head of state.
