The Head of State is personally monitoring the progress of a large-scale snap inspection of the combat readiness of the Armed Forces.
On January 28, Alexander Lukashenko heard a report from the State Secretary of the Security Council, Alexander Wolfovich. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader. The President was briefed in detail on the specifics and interim results of the inspection, on how personnel and equipment are coping with the assigned tasks, and how the provision and storage of material assets are organized.
Alexander Lukashenko specifically inquired about the organization of accommodation and daily life for personnel, and the availability of necessary uniforms in difficult weather conditions.
The Head of State placed particular emphasis on the issues of applying the experience of modern military conflicts to the Belarusian forest and marshland terrain.
The President set forth the necessary tasks for the further course of the inspection activities, which will last until the spring of the current year. Based on its results, a detailed analysis will be conducted to eliminate possible shortcomings and adjust the work on improving the Armed Forces, as well as the training and education of personnel.
