Lukashenko gave advice on the agro-industrial complex: there is no need to save money, it is better to invest in business, in land
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko received a report from Vladimir Lukyanov, General Director of the open joint-stock company "Agrokombinat "Dzerzhinsky", as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
"It is important for the owner to have some reserve of money. That's understandable. But there is no need to hoard money now so that it lies idle somewhere, even in bank accounts. It is better to invest in business. And this is necessary. We will encourage you to do so. Especially state officials, state enterprises. And private ones too. They also turn to us for support. So, let's solve state issues. Therefore, investment is needed. And where to invest? Investment is needed in enterprises, collective farms, state farms, in land. Because that's where fodder and grain come from, which will be needed for your poultry. And if there is pork, something else... It's all grain. You can't feed pigs, and especially poultry, with hay, straw, or silage - you'll need grain. Therefore, investment is needed," said the head of state.
"It's good that you are developing. It's a powerhouse, of course (referring to the agro-combine. - BELTA note). You are operating profitably. You need to proceed very cautiously with these acquisitions," added Alexander Lukashenko.
