Lukashenko urges to boost regional ties with Kazakhstan
The development of interregional cooperation between Belarus and Kazakhstan needs to be spurred and accelerated. This was stated by the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, at a meeting with the Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Koshanov, BelTA correspondent reports.
The head of state noted that parliamentarians are involved in developing ties between regions in both countries. Moreover, Belarus and Kazakhstan are preparing to hold a thematic forum on interregional cooperation. Alexander Lukashenko generally supported this idea and pointed out that Belarus has experience in holding similar forums with Russia, and Kazakhstan has experience with Russia. According to him, this is necessary to spur interregional cooperation.
