Back-to-School Assistance
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR THE NEW 2026/2027 ACADEMIC YEAR FOR LARGE FAMILIES
Based on clause 8 of the action plan of the State Program "Development of Demographic Potential" for 2026-2030, a one-time financial assistance is paid for the academic year to families raising 3 or more children, for each student studying in general secondary and special education institutions of the Republic of Belarus, in the amount of 30% of the subsistence minimum budget per capita, effective August 1.
The payment of financial assistance within the framework of the state program does not apply to "family" forms of child placement for orphans and children left without parental care (foster and guardianship families, family-type children's homes), as well as to children studying in vocational and secondary specialized educational institutions.
Applications and documents are accepted by the State Institution "Social Service Center of Rossony District" from July 1, 2026.
The following documents must be attached to the application:
- A certificate of the living space occupied in the given locality, place of residence, and family composition. If family members are registered at different addresses, then certificates of the living space occupied in the given locality, place of residence, and family composition for all members of the large family;
- A certificate stating that the citizen is a student;
- Copies of birth certificates of all children raised in the family under the age of 18.
Payment of financial assistance will begin on August 1, 2026, and will be made only to the APPLICANT'S BASIC accounts (if such an account is not available, it must be opened).
Financial assistance will be paid to large families in accordance with their place of residence (place of stay) registration in Rossony District, without considering income and regardless of receiving financial assistance for the new academic year from other sources.
