Attention hunters!

From November 04, 2023, to January 28, 2024, in accordance with the Hunting Regulations, the autumn-winter hunting season for the following game species is open:

Hunting is permitted during daylight hours for the following game species: Mountain hare, brown hare, squirrel, pine marten, stone marten, American mink, muskrat, European polecat, red fox, raccoon dog.

Species and Methods of Hunting: For hares – by firearm from ambush, stalking, or driving. Without firearms – with sighthounds, hunting birds. For squirrels, pine martens, stone martens, American minks, muskrats, European polecats – by firearm while stalking, including with hunting dogs (all breeds except sighthounds). Without firearms – with traps (excluding snares) throughout the day (when hunting without firearms with traps (excluding snares), their setting (removal), inspection, setting, and retrieval of caught animals are permitted only during daylight hours).

Permitted Hunting Equipment: For hares – smoothbore hunting firearms using cartridges loaded with shot, hunting dogs of all breeds. For squirrels, pine martens, stone martens, American minks, muskrats, European polecats – smoothbore hunting firearms using cartridges loaded with shot, rifled hunting firearms with a muzzle energy of the bullet from 400 to 1500 joules; hunting dogs: all breeds, except sighthounds.
