Observe the Hunting Rules!

The Verkhnedvinsk Inter-district Inspectorate for Wildlife Protection reminds citizens that when hunting, the following documents must be carried:

- State certificate of hunting rights;

- Documents confirming the payment of the state duty for the right to hunt;

- A hunting permit or a permit and a hunting permit attached to the permit, issued to the citizen (or the citizen must be listed in the hunting permit attached to the permit held by the hunting leader);

- A permit from the internal affairs bodies for the storage and carrying of hunting weapons when hunting with personal weapons, or a permit for the carrying of hunting weapons and ammunition for them, obtained for temporary use during hunting from the hunting grounds user in the manner established by the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Belarus in conjunction with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, when hunting with their use.

Hunting conducted by a citizen without the above documents is considered hunting without a proper permit.

Responsibility for this offense is provided for by Part 1 of Article 16.27 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus and entails a fine of 10 to 30 base units with confiscation of shotguns, other hunting tools, and other items that served as the instrument or means of committing the specified violation, or without confiscation and with deprivation of the right to engage in certain activities.

If damage to the environment is caused by a citizen as a result of illegal hunting in the amount of more than 100 base units, criminal liability is incurred, as provided for by Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.
