Inspectors of the Verkhnedvinsk Interdistrict Inspectorate checked the reservoirs of Rossony region
The occasion is relevant: a spawning ban on fishing has been in effect in the region since April 10 and will last until June 8.
We visited the lakes Cherepitskoye, Mylinskoye, Valkovskoye, and Mezhno. We met with the management of LLC "Frutreal". We talked with the local population and fishermen.
– Poaching has decreased compared to even ten years ago, – says inspector Vladimir Goncheronok. – Control by the inspection and preventive work are maintaining this trend.
Since the beginning of the spawning ban, inspectors have identified 8 violations of the Fishing Rules.
They seized 23 nets with a total length of over a kilometer and other "prohibited items".
Additionally, a boat and 11 kilograms of fish were confiscated.
3 ownerless nets were retrieved from the water body.
More than 4 kilograms of fish were released, and over two kilograms of dead fish were disposed of.
According to the inspector, it is gratifying that 5 people voluntarily surrendered prohibited fishing gear.
