Attention hunters!

From August 09 to December 14, 2025, in accordance with the Hunting Regulations, the summer-autumn hunting season for feathered game is opened: waterfowl (except geese) and marsh birds, woodcock, pigeon, rock dove, quail, pheasant, grey crow, magpie (during daylight hours).

Types and methods of hunting: driven hunt with a firearm from ambush, stalking, approaching by small vessels, including with hunting dogs of all groups (except sighthounds and hounds). Non-firearm hunting with trained birds of prey.

It is permitted to use smoothbore hunting firearms with shot-loaded cartridges, and small vessels without an engine or with a non-operational engine.

Hunting "for feathers" is permitted only for bird species listed in Appendix 1 to the Hunting Regulations and indicated in the permit.

Safety is paramount. Strictly observe the Hunting Safety Regulations!

We remind you that the Hunting Safety Regulations PROHIBIT:

– boarding and disembarking from a vehicle with a loaded hunting firearm;

– removing an assembled hunting firearm by the barrel(s) from a vehicle;

– shooting at noise, rustling, at an unclearly visible target, in conditions of poor visibility (in dense fog, heavy snowfall, against the sun, etc.);

– shooting and being with a loaded hunting firearm within 200 meters of the outermost building of a settlement;

– shooting in the direction of people, settlements, agricultural or domestic animals (except stray cats and mongrel dogs), vehicles from smoothbore hunting firearms within 500 meters of them and from rifled hunting firearms within 2 kilometers;

– pointing a hunting firearm, including an unloaded one, at a person, agricultural or domestic animals (except stray cats and mongrel dogs) or their accommodation;

– firing unnecessarily, cocking an external hammer firearm or releasing the safety on an internal hammer firearm;

– finishing off a wounded game animal with the butt of a firearm.

Violation of the Hunting Safety Regulations entails administrative liability in accordance with the current legislation.
