Public discussion of the environmental report

Public discussions of the environmental report on the strategic environmental assessment of the "Water Resource Management Strategy until 2040" project will be held from October 22 to November 20, 2025.

The water resource management strategy document has been developed based on the instruction of the President of the Republic of Belarus, given on April 25, 2025, during a report on the development of the Gomel region districts affected by the Chernobyl NPP disaster.

The Strategy takes into account the forecast parameters of the long-term development of the Republic of Belarus and the directions for the effective use of the country's natural and production potential in accordance with the draft National Sustainable Development Strategy of the Republic of Belarus for the period up to 2040.
