Attention hunters!

The Verkhnedvinsk Inter-district Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora informs that from November 01, 2025, to January 25, 2026, in accordance with the Hunting Rules, the autumn-winter hunting season for the following species of game animals is opened:

Hunting is permitted during daylight hours for certain species of game animals such as: Mountain hare, brown hare, squirrel, pine marten, stone marten, American mink, muskrat, European polecat, red fox, raccoon dog.

Species and Methods of Hunting: For hares – by firearm from ambush, by stalking, by driving. Without firearms – with greyhounds, with hunting birds. For foxes, raccoon dogs – by firearm: den hunting, without firearms: den hunting. For squirrels, pine martens, stone martens, American minks, muskrats, European polecats – by firearm by stalking, including with hunting dogs (of all breeds except greyhounds). Without firearms – traps, snares (except loops) throughout the day (when hunting without firearms with traps and/or snares (except loops), their setting (removal), checking, setting, and extraction of caught animals are allowed only during daylight hours).

Permitted Hunting Equipment: For hares – smoothbore hunting weapons using cartridges loaded with shot, hunting dogs of all breeds. For foxes, raccoon dogs – smoothbore hunting weapons using cartridges loaded with shot, hunting dogs: dachshunds, terriers. For squirrels, pine martens, stone martens, American minks, muskrats, European polecats – smoothbore hunting weapons using cartridges loaded with shot, rifled hunting weapons with a muzzle energy of the bullet from 400 to 1500 joules; hunting dogs: all breeds except greyhounds.
