Second meeting of the Joint Belarusian-Russian Commission

On October 21, the second meeting of the Joint Belarusian-Russian Commission for coordinating activities on the implementation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Russian Federation on the creation of the transboundary specially protected natural area "Zapovednoye Poozerye" was held in the city of Sebezh (Russian Federation).

This specially protected natural area includes the "Krasny Bor" and "Osvyeysky" republican landscape reserves (Belarus), and the "Sebezhsky" National Park (Russia).

The authorities responsible for the implementation of the said Agreement are the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation.
