Please note the operating rules for gas cleaning units

The Gomel Regional Committee for Natural Resources and Environmental Protection draws attention to the fact that in accordance with clause 6.6 of EcoNIP 17.08.06-002-2018 "Environmental Protection and Nature Management.

Atmospheric Air (including the Ozone Layer). Rules for the Operation of Gas Cleaning Units", the following is prohibited during the operation of GCUs:

• disconnection of gas cleaning units while technological equipment is in operation;
• increase in the productivity of technological equipment, accompanied by a change in the qualitative and (or) quantitative composition of exhaust gases exceeding the values established in the design solutions for equipping organized stationary emission sources with gas cleaning units, without preemptive or simultaneous increase in the capacity of existing gas cleaning units.

For violation of the rules for the operation of GCUs, administrative responsibility is provided in accordance with Article 16.32 of the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Administrative Offenses.
