On unauthorized landfills

The Rossony District Inspectorate reminds that the disposal of waste in unauthorized places is prohibited and constitutes a violation of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Waste Management", for which administrative liability is provided in accordance with Part 3 of Article 16.44 of the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Administrative Offenses and entails a fine of up to thirty basic units, for an individual entrepreneur - up to one hundred basic units, and for a legal entity - up to one thousand basic units.

In order to prevent environmental pollution by waste, the inspectorate urges citizens to dispose of waste only in authorized places.

The inspectorate conducts weekly measures to identify and eliminate unauthorized landfills.
