On bringing order to the land

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus has announced a spring campaign for tidying up the land, improving and greening settlements from March 1 to May 8 of the current year.

As of today, cleanup and improvement activities have started in all regions of the country.

Currently, in order to intensify the land tidying efforts, territorial bodies of the Ministry of Natural Resources are conducting on-site control and analytical measures. Special attention is paid to the condition of territories along railways, rights-of-way, roadside strips, bus stops along republican and local roads, publicly accessible areas of settlements, garden associations, garage cooperatives, agricultural enterprises and organizations, and state forest fund territories. Compliance with waste management schemes, the condition of container sites, and the availability of containers for separate waste collection are being checked.

For more efficient land tidying, we invite concerned citizens to inform the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Natural Resources about instances of mismanagement, as well as violations of environmental protection and rational use of natural resources legislation.
