On August 1, 2024, a meeting of the district task force for land improvement was held at the Rossony District Executive Committee with the participation of the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Committee for Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Koltso Roman Fedorovich and the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies Demidov Dmitry Vladimirovich.
During the meeting, the Deputy Chairman of the Rossony District Executive Committee Marchenko Ruslan Viktorovich reported on the implementation of the district plan for land improvement for the first 7 months of the current year. The Head of the Rossony District Inspectorate for Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Varatsinsky Alexey Leonidovich summarized the results of the work of the interdepartmental commission for land improvement in the settlements of the Rossony District as of July 31, 2024. During the meeting, issues of demolition of dilapidated vacant housing, control of invasive plants, and collection and removal of waste from the territories of settlements and civil cemeteries in the district were raised.
