Lilac has bloomed in Belarus!

For illegal damage to woody and shrubby vegetation, individuals, i.e., ordinary people, face a fine of up to 30 base units (up to 1260 rubles currently).
If inflorescences are regularly broken off from a bush, it will wither and eventually die. Often, broken branches cause the shrub's flowering to be incomplete in the following year.
If lilac grows on a person's household plot, at a dacha, on the territory of their private house, then they have the right to pick a branch of lilac, as in this case the shrub is not an element of the urban environment.
