❗️13 species of animals and 5 species of plants have been added to the Red Book of Belarus

"13 species of wild animals and 58 species of wild-growing plants have been excluded. Now the Red Book contains 213 species of animals and 310 species of wild-growing plants," said Tatyana Zheleznova, Head of the Department of Biological and Landscape Diversity of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection.

By the end of the year, the fifth illustrated edition of the Red Book will be released. It will include information on habitats, biology, and conservation methods for various species of wild animals and wild-growing plants.
