Are the kids already swimming without armbands? Did the inflatable mattress not survive an encounter with sharp rocks? Or are the unicorn and trendy donut gathering dust in the closet? What to do with beach accessories when they are no longer needed?

What are they made of?

From PVC – a durable, flexible plastic that is also used in construction (windows, ceilings) and packaging.

Why are they almost impossible to recycle?

In Belarus, mainly industrial PVC waste is recycled; household waste is recycled to a limited extent.

Mixed composition, additives, additional elements (fabric, metal) make recycling extremely difficult.

If you cannot give up PVC beach accessories, then the most environmentally friendly approach is to buy them as little as possible and use them for as long as possible.
