HUNTING CASES

From October 1, the driven hunt season for ungulates begins in Belarus and will last until December 31.

Hunting for elk, red deer, roe deer, and wild boar is permitted only during daylight hours.

The harvesting of animals of any sex and age is allowed within the established quotas.

Permitted weapons: rifled firearms – considering the approved list of calibers for each animal species; smoothbore firearms – with slugs for elk, red deer, adult wild boar; with slugs or buckshot – for roe deer, sika deer, young wild boar; bows and crossbows are also permitted.

For your information, hunting grounds may introduce their own restrictions (e.g., prohibition of buckshot or certain dog breeds).
