On August 8, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus adopted Resolution No. 444 "On the Strategy for Waste Management"

The Strategy aims to ensure the utilization of at least 90% of waste by 2040 while maintaining carbon neutrality through emission reduction and the implementation of environmental projects.

Government bodies and organizations are obliged to consider the Strategy in their work and report annually on its implementation progress. The Resolution entered into force on August 22, 2025.
