Amendments have been made to a number of resolutions of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus

On September 17, 2025, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection adopted Resolution No. 9-T "On Amendments to Resolutions of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus of March 11, 2022 No. 2-T and December 13, 2022 No. 28-T".

The aforementioned resolution introduces amendments to:

Environmental Norms and Rules EcoNiP 17.06.08-003-2022 "Environmental Protection and Nature Management. Hydrosphere. Requirements for maintaining surface water bodies in proper condition and their improvement", approved by Resolution of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus of March 11, 2022 No. 2-T;

Environmental Norms and Rules EcoNiP 17.06.06-005-2022 "Environmental Protection and Nature Management. Hydrosphere. Requirements for ensuring environmental safety during the operation of wastewater treatment facilities discharged into the environment", approved by Resolution of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus of December 13, 2022 No. 28-T.

The introduction of amendments to the environmental norms and rules is due to law enforcement practice and the need to align provisions with other regulatory legal acts.

Resolution of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus of September 17, 2025 No. 9-T enters into force on January 1, 2026.

Also on September 16, 2025, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection adopted:

– Resolution No. 49 "On Amendments to Resolution of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus of May 4, 2015 No. 19" (entered into force on October 5, 2025);

– Resolution No. 50 "On Amendments to Resolution of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus of March 25, 2022 No. 22" (entered into force on October 4, 2025).

The aforementioned resolutions introduce amendments to the Instruction on the Procedure for Establishing Basin Councils and Regulations on Administrative Procedures and other documents concerning special water use.

The resolutions were developed based on the results of the inventory of regulatory legal acts conducted in 2025 by the National Center for Legislation and Legal Information of the Republic of Belarus.
