If the bird has no visible injuries, it should not be disturbed. If external injuries are visible: plucked feathers, bloodstains, a twisted wing, you should report it to the territorial body of the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, or the police, as the independent removal of wild birds from nature is prohibited and is subject to administrative liability.

The procedure for providing assistance to wild animals in distress is approved by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus "On the interaction of state bodies and other organizations when a wild animal is detected" dated 11.04.2019 No. 237. For these purposes, a commission has been established in each district, whose members make a decision on the necessity of capturing a wild animal for subsequent release into its natural habitat, or for transfer to the care of an individual or legal entity.
