The Rossony District Inspectorate of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection reminds: unauthorized felling of Christmas trees, both in the forest fund and in the green areas of the city, is prohibited, and violators will face a fine (for individuals, according to Art. 16.17 of the Code of Administrative Offenses - up to 30 basic units).

Nevertheless, it is possible to legally fell a Christmas tree in the forest - for this, you need to contact the nearest forestry, whose specialists will explain how and where to do it without breaking the law.

Also, from December 20, Christmas tree markets will open in Rossony, where everyone can purchase a suitable New Year tree. In addition, Christmas trees are sold in shops and at fairs - they were grown specifically for the holiday season. You will be offered both felled trees and live ones in containers, which can then be planted on your own garden plot.
