The requirements of EcoNPA 17.06.01-006-2023 "Environmental Protection and Nature Management. Hydrosphere. Quality standards for surface water bodies" have been adjusted

By Resolution No. 14-T of December 4, 2025, "On Amending the Resolution of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus of December 15, 2023 No. 15-T," the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection has introduced amendments to the current Environmental Norms and Rules (EcoNiP) on the quality of surface water bodies, establishing a new classification of chemical substances by hazard level: Class 1 – extremely hazardous, Class 2 – highly hazardous, Class 3 – hazardous, Class 4 – moderately hazardous.

Resolution No. 14-T entered into force on January 1, 2026.
