Where to put the Christmas tree?

The Rossony District Inspectorate of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection reminds you about the procedure for "disposal of holiday trees".

The New Year holidays are coming to an end, which means it will soon be time to part with Christmas trees. Used Christmas trees should be left at the collection points for bulky waste.

Trees must be free of tinsel and Christmas tree decorations. Do not place trees in bags or wrap them in tape, and do not tie the branches of the tree. Coniferous trees will be processed into fuel chips using specialized equipment.

Artificial Christmas trees are made from different types of plastic, so they are not easy to recycle.

Plastic Christmas trees should also be left at the collection point for bulky waste, and the utility organization will determine the further course of action for their disposal.
