On snow removal in assigned areas

The Rossonsky District Inspectorate of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, in connection with heavy snowfall, reminds that in accordance with the requirements of the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of 22.07.2020 No. 430, legal entities and individuals on the territories assigned to them by decisions of local executive and administrative bodies are obliged to clear all types of surfaces of snow and ice, and treat them with anti-icing agents – as needed (in the winter period), in conditions of heavy snowfall, blizzards and icy conditions – constantly, but not less than once a day.

In addition, according to Article 36¹ of the Rules for the Improvement and Maintenance of Populated Areas, approved by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of 28.11.2012 No. 1087, in case of parking of vehicles on adjacent territories and driveways, legal entities and individuals are obliged to ensure timely snow removal from the territory intended for the movement and (or) parking of vehicles, at a distance of at least 1 meter from their vehicle.

For failure to comply with the requirements of the rules for the improvement and maintenance of populated areas, as well as failure to perform work to maintain proper sanitary conditions on the territories of common use lands of populated areas, including on territories adjacent to land plots provided to citizens, individual entrepreneurs and legal entities (in their possession), administrative responsibility is provided in accordance with Part 2 of Article 22.10 of the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Administrative Offenses:

for citizens in the form of a fine of up to twenty-five basic units, for individual entrepreneurs – from ten to fifty basic units, and for legal entities – from twenty to one hundred basic units.
