Ministry of Natural Resources Winter Games: The start has been given!
Focus on the opening ceremony of the Republican Winter Spartakiad among employees of the Ministry of Natural Resources system.
Participants in the competition were welcomed in a solemn atmosphere by distinguished guests: Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Sergey MASLYAK, Chairman of the Belarusian Trade Union of Forestry and Nature Management Workers Yuri SHUMSKY.
The Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus Sergey Maslyak delivered a welcoming speech at the solemn opening ceremony of the Republican Winter Spartakiad among employees of the Ministry of Natural Resources system, which took place at the RCOP "Stayki"!
In his speech, the Head of the environmental department noted the importance of sports in the life of every employee. The start of the competitions, which brought together various sports, became a vivid confirmation of team spirit. The Minister wished the athletes successful starts and high results.
"As the Head of State emphasizes, Belarus's goal is active longevity. And the path to this lies through sports! Our winter Spartakiad is a living example of how employees of the Ministry of Natural Resources system choose health, vigor, and energy," said Yuri Shumsky.
Over three competitive days, teams fought for the title of the strongest in biathlon, swimming, streetball, darts, table tennis, and also in the program - a duathlon for leaders.
