On the implementation of the Action Plan for the phased reduction of polymer packaging use for 2025

The Action Plan for the phased reduction of polymer packaging use with its replacement by environmentally safe alternatives was approved by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated January 13, 2020, No. 7.

The Plan provides for the implementation of measures in the field of improving the waste management system and reducing the use of polymer packaging, in the field of conducting scientific research, and in the field of production and use of environmentally safe (including biodegradable) packaging.

Information and educational work is being carried out in educational institutions on the issues of waste management, including plastic packaging waste, as well as the separate collection of secondary material resources.
