Incredibly beautiful winter

the very one, frosty from the most cherished childhood memories, with deep snowdrifts, heavy felt boots, and wet mittens; the one where there was always something to do – with ice slides, snowball fights, sledding, and snowmen; the one that you couldn't be lured inside from for a hot lunch; the one that seemed to remain only in memories and on the pages of children's books, and suddenly, unexpectedly, stepped out of the pictures and reminded us that it can be like this. And not just that it can be, but that it should be exactly like this.
