The government has approved the republican plan of events for holding the Year of Belarusian Women in 2026

The corresponding resolution was signed by Alexander Turchin

It is envisaged to implement a set of measures aimed at popularizing the role of women and their contribution to the development of society, as well as achieving concrete results in supporting women and families with children, and forming a public dialogue on the theme of the year.

The key directions of the republican plan include:

forming the brand of Belarusian women and media support: opening a women's internet radio, media projects #belarusianwoman21century, #EverythingStartsWithFamily, Woman's Face of Belarus

popularizing the significant contribution of Belarusian women on international platforms: international forums, strengthening the role of women in preserving family and peace

promoting a healthy lifestyle and strengthening women's health: a set of measures for the prevention of various diseases, holding sports and health events and festivals

cultural and public events: numerous dialogue platforms, exhibitions, events, competitions, including "Woman of the Year", "Family of the Year", family festival "Together", youth project "Dziyavochy Vianok Miru" (Maiden Wreath of Peace)

information and educational projects "Helping Hand", "Support Point", "Being a Mom is Cool!" and others

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection has been designated as the coordinator of the activities of state bodies and other organizations for the implementation of the republican plan measures
