Data on springs has been updated on the Public Cadastral Map in Belarus

On February 24, data on springs in Belarus was updated on the Public Cadastral Map. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the National Cadastral Agency.

The thematic layer "Springs" first appeared on the Public Cadastral Map (PCM) in 2018 on the initiative of the Brest Agency for State Registration and Land Cadastre. Today, the layer contains data on 1311 springs.

In 2026, based on information provided by RUP "Central Research Institute for Integrated Use of Water Resources" (RUP "CNIIKIVR"), the National Cadastral Agency updated the data: 58 new springs were added; 75 springs were given names; 246 springs had their spatial location changed; information on the affiliation of springs to river basins was supplemented; information on the location of springs within specially protected natural areas was updated, including based on data from the unified register of administrative-territorial and territorial units of Belarus.
