Current information of the inspection of natural resources and environmental protection

Citizens, seeking to save on construction materials, become "targets" for camera traps and participants in administrative proceedings.

The Rossonsky District Inspectorate of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection regularly conducts control measures, during which various violations of environmental legislation are often identified. The Inspectorate reminds that the unauthorized use of natural resources, including excavation and sand extraction, is prohibited. For the specified violation, Part 3 of Article 16.36 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus provides for administrative liability in the form of a fine of up to 30 basic units for individuals and up to 300 basic units for legal entities. In some cases, the guilty person will also be presented with a claim for compensation for damage caused to the environment, the amount of which depends on the quantity of illegally extracted sand.
