The Rossonsky District Inspectorate of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection urges not to allow the burning of dry vegetation!

We draw your attention to the fact that, according to:

The Code of the Republic of Belarus on Administrative Offenses dated January 6, 2021, No. 91-Z (Code of Administrative Offenses):

for illegal burning of dry vegetation, grasses on the root, as well as stubble and post-harvest residues in fields, or failure to take measures to extinguish fires, guilty persons are brought to administrative responsibility in the form of a fine ranging from ten to thirty basic units (Article 16.40);

for setting fires in prohibited places, except for violations of fire safety requirements, for which liability is provided for by other articles of the Special Part of the said Code, entails a fine of up to twelve basic units (Article 16.41);

the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated April 11, 2022, No. 219 "On the rates for determining the amount of compensation for damage caused to the environment and the procedure for its calculation," illegal burning of dry vegetation, grasses on the root (except for lawns, flower beds, forest litter, living ground cover), as well as stubble and post-harvest residues, is a fact of causing damage to the environment and provides for civil liability.

During control activities, the Inspectorate pays special attention to fire safety issues in natural ecosystems and the prevention of burning dry vegetation in the region.
