Весенние палы вредят природе!

Spring fires harm nature!

Burning dry grass depletes the soil!

Mineral substances contained in ash easily wash away with surface and groundwater, and only a small part of them is absorbed by plants. As a result, vegetation cover degrades, and its species composition becomes impoverished. This, in turn, leads to a decrease in the input of organic matter and a reduction in humus content – the soil loses its ability to retain moisture, and its destruction – erosion – begins.

Not only plants die in fire, but animals and birds also perish in the flames! Burning dry grass causes the destruction of clutches and nesting sites of birds such as the mallard, garganey, lapwing, redshank, snipe, reed bunting, corn bunting, skylark, woodlark, and meadow pipit.

PROHIBITED!

- Burning of dry vegetation (dry plants) and their standing residues;

- Making fires, burning plant residues in public areas of settlements (Exception! specially equipped places for this purpose, determined by decisions of local executive and administrative bodies, and on other territories, they are allowed in compliance with environmental protection requirements and fire safety rules.).

Failure to comply with the requirements of the law entails administrative liability!
