Reminder to economic entities on the need to comply with the requirements of EcoNP 17.06.06-006-2024

The Rossonsky District Inspectorate of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection reminds business entities of the need to comply with the requirements of EcoNiP 17.06.06-006-2024.

Thus, when operating systems for collecting and removing livestock by-products at livestock facilities, the spread of livestock by-products across the terrain and their filtration into aquifers are not permitted (part two of clause 15 of EcoNiP 17.06.06-006-2024).

Failure to comply with this requirement entails administrative liability in accordance with Article 16.1 of the Special Part of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus, the sanction of which provides for a fine of up to twenty base amounts, and for a legal entity - up to one hundred base amounts.

In addition, land degradation (including soil) in accordance with subparagraph 1.1 of clause 1 of the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of April 11, 2022 No. 219 "On the rates for determining the amount of compensation for damage caused to the environment and the procedure for its calculation" is a fact of causing harm to the environment and entails civil liability. The amount of compensation for damage caused to the environment is determined according to the rates approved by the aforementioned Resolution.
