The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus reminds about the need to comply with the requirements of the legislation when harvesting tree sap

The Rossonsky District Inspectorate of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus reminds about the need to comply with the requirements of the legislation when harvesting tree sap.

Harvesting of tree sap is prohibited in populated areas, dendrological parks, botanical gardens, habitats of rare species, in zones of protection of historical and cultural values, on the territories of resorts and healthcare organizations, in places of mass recreation, as well as within the rights-of-way of railways and roads, other transport communications and coastal strips of water bodies (Article 45 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On the Plant World").

For illegal harvesting of tree sap, in accordance with Article 16.19 of the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Administrative Offenses, administrative liability is provided in the form of a fine of up to 20 base units (for an individual), up to 100 base units (for an individual entrepreneur), up to 500 base units (for a legal entity).
