For a bouquet of spring flowers – a fine of up to 30 basic units

Spring has arrived in Belarus, and with it – the season of spring flowers. However, not all early flowers can be picked: some of them are listed in the Red Book and are protected by law.

The Rossony District Inspectorate of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection reminds that the most common protected species are Anemone sylvestris, Trollius europaeus, and Ramsons. Collecting such plants harms nature: picked flowers will not produce seeds and may disappear.

For violation of the law on the plant world, a fine of 20 to 30 basic units is provided, as well as compensation for damage caused to the environment. Specialists urge to admire spring flowers in their natural habitat without picking them, in order to preserve their beauty for future generations.
