On which highways in Belarus is the risk of hitting a wild animal highest?

Road accident statistics show that collisions with wild animals are one of the most serious dangers on rural roads and in the countryside.

Such accidents often lead to severe consequences: serious injuries to drivers and passengers, critical damage to vehicles, and, unfortunately, fatalities.

Many drivers mistakenly believe that the probability of encountering an animal is higher in dense forests. However, experts note that the frequency of such incidents depends not so much on the density of animal populations in the forest as on the intensity of traffic flow.

The highest risk of collision is recorded on high-speed highways designated with the letter "M," as well as on roads encircling Minsk and regional centers.
