Environmental damage of plastic flowers

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus reminds about the harm of plastic flowers.

They are almost impossible to recycle: the material is too difficult to identify. Sorting is not possible, and as a result, such waste is sent to landfills.

The situation is further exacerbated: they decompose for hundreds of years, releasing toxins that poison the soil, air, and groundwater. Incineration produces heavy metals and dioxins, which negatively affect human health.

We urge you to abandon artificial compositions and choose nature and the health of future generations.
