The Rossony District Inspectorate of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection calls on all concerned citizens to take part in an environmental campaign to improve the territories near significant water bodies!

In April, Belarus will host a large-scale environmental initiative "Blue-Eyed Belarus".

The environmental campaign is aimed at preserving the country's natural heritage – its picturesque lakes and rivers.

The campaign was initiated by the State Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora under the President of the Republic of Belarus, supported by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus, and local executive and administrative bodies.

The goal of the campaign is to tidy up and improve the territories adjacent to socially significant water bodies, and to remind society of the importance of careful attitude towards nature. Pollution of banks with plastic, household waste and other materials not only spoils the aesthetics of landscapes, but also damages ecosystems.
