We have no right to turn our planet into a landfill

Our duty is to pass on a clean planet to our children, not mountains of waste! Waste placed in the environment is a source of its pollution. In contact with air, moisture, and under the influence of high temperatures, waste decomposes. The products of their decomposition (toxins) pollute the soil, groundwater, and air. Often, unauthorized dumps of municipal, construction, and other industrial waste are formed on public lands of settlements, in water protection zones and coastal strips of water bodies, in forest areas, ravines, and gullies. The Rossony District Inspectorate of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection draws attention to the fact that for organizing an unauthorized waste dump, part 3 of Article 16.44 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus provides for administrative liability in the form of a fine of up to 30 basic units for an individual entrepreneur – up to 100 basic units, and for a legal entity – up to 1000 basic units.
