Unusual "treats" for animals will appear in the forests.

An anti-epizootic campaign will be conducted from April 18 to May 1.

Wild carnivorous animals will be vaccinated against rabies... from the air. For this purpose, airplanes will scatter special edible baits with vaccine inside over forests and fields.

What kind of "treat" is it?

It is a gray-brown briquette weighing 25 g. Composition: fish meal + beef fat. Inside is a capsule with the vaccine.

Important warning

It is strictly forbidden for people to:

— handle the baits with bare hands;

— feed them to domestic pets;

— allow children to come into contact with the briquettes.

If the vaccine accidentally gets on the skin or into the body:

— On hands / exposed skin areas: wash thoroughly with soap.

— In eyes, nose, or mouth (as well as on wounds): seek medical attention immediately.

Where and how will the baits be scattered?

In forest areas, fields, and other lands inhabited by wild carnivorous animals. Residential areas and water bodies will not be treated.
