"Blue-eyed Belarus": Cleanliness starts with you

Do you know why Belarus is called "Blue-Eyed"? Because for every 100 km² of our land, there are almost 2 lakes. This is our national treasure, our pride. But even the most beautiful "blue" needs help! From April 22 to 28, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, in conjunction with the State Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora, is holding the republican campaign "Blue-Eyed Belarus". What does the campaign involve? * Cleaning of coastal areas and beaches. * Clearing of small rivers and streams in cities and villages. * Elimination of unauthorized dumps in water protection zones. Who is participating? Representatives of local authorities, public organizations, students, volunteers, and simply concerned citizens will join the cleanup of the shorelines. Anyone who wishes can join! How to become a participant? 1. Assemble a team (friends, colleagues, classmates). 2. Contact your local district executive committee or territorial natural resources committee. 3. Obtain equipment and clean the shore. It is important to remember: Pollution of shores with plastic and household waste causes immense damage to ecosystems. Toxic substances enter the water, threatening flora and fauna. Let's make our water bodies cleaner together!
