The methodology for calculating compensation payments for harmful impact on wildlife and their habitats during peat deposit development has been refined

The corresponding resolution was signed by the Prime Minister

The document was developed in order to remove excessive restrictions and ensure the effective operation of the peat industry

The resolution provides for the clarification of the methodology for calculating compensation payments for harmful effects on wildlife and their habitats when allocating land for the construction of peat extraction fields: the zone of harmful impact is reduced from 6.5 to 1.5 km

the response coefficients of wildlife to harmful impacts during peat deposit development are reduced

correction factors are introduced for the normative service life (for newly constructed facilities), as well as based on the directions of use of depleted deposits (the lowest coefficient for re-wetting).
