Prime Minister Alexander Turchin has signed a resolution amending the current procedure for handling production waste. The document introduces changes to the Council of Ministers Resolution No. 818 of November 28, 2019. ❗️The resolution comes into force on April 19, 2026. ?The new document has been developed considering law enforcement practice and provides a number of significant relaxations and clarifications for business entities. ?Key innovations: ? Enterprises will be able to obtain permits for waste storage or disposal if they have their own processing or neutralization facilities. ? Permits for storage and disposal can be revoked at the initiative of the applicant themselves. ? The period for making amendments to an already issued permit has been extended from 30 to 60 days. ? The timelines for administrative procedures have been clarified. The method of submitting documents when they are submitted on paper has been specified. ?
