May is a decisive stage in the fight against hogweed. The plant is in the active growth phase (up to 30 cm), when it is most susceptible to herbicides. Timely treatment allows for the destruction of the weed before flowering, thereby preventing the ripening of thousands of seeds and their further spread for years to come.
