The Rossony District Inspectorate of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection reminds about waste management rules

❗️Individuals are obliged to ensure waste collection and its separation by type. ❗️The following municipal consumer waste is subject to separate collection: - paper and cardboard waste; - glass waste; - plastic waste; - metal waste; - wood waste; - worn-out tires; - plant waste; - bulky waste; - construction waste; - waste electrical and electronic equipment; - waste used oils; - mercury-containing waste; - food waste; - waste batteries; - waste medicines. ❗️The following are not permitted: - placing the above-mentioned waste in containers for mixed municipal waste; - placing construction and plant waste in containers for secondary raw materials; - burning municipal waste by the public, with the exception of parts of removed trees, root wood, and plant waste on land plots owned by citizens by right of ownership or other legal grounds, in compliance with the Fire Safety Rules for residential buildings, structures and facilities located on the adjacent territory, garden houses, utility structures and facilities located on a land plot provided for collective gardening, dachas, utility structures and facilities located on a land plot provided for dacha construction; - placing municipal waste outside designated collection points. ♻️A comprehensive list of requirements for the management of municipal waste is set out in TKP 17.11-08-2024 (33040/33140) "Environmental Protection and Nature Management.
